I haven't heard of him, but I would love to hear him!   Where is he playing?  I just saw Jon Kimura Parker play at the Shepherd school of music.   He is incredible.

Have a great time.

hope you had a great time.  unfortunately, i live in the states.  would love to come visit. Is classical music accepted widely there?  In the US It is not very big at all. Just curious. Some people say california has more tolerance for classical.  I know texas doesnt.  Wish it did.

Please update us on how the concert went. There are many young pianists who are excellent technically but simply aren't emotionally mature enough to play much of the repertoire. But, of course, there are exceptions, and once they mature emotionally they turn out to be great musicians. In particular, I'm referring to the current Lang Lang and a recording I heard of the 12-year-old Sgouros playing the Chopin concertos. Technically breaktaking but not very deep.
