Mozart/Liszt transcription
on: November 22, 2005, 03:53:28 PM
I am looking for the score of Liszt transcription (or rather fantasia) of Mozart Marriage of Figaro (completed by Busoni). It's much less known than the Don Juan fantasy but as demanding (and I like it better).

Anyone knows a website where I can get it?

Thanks.

If it's in the public domain, why don't you post it here.  If it's legal I would love to have it too.
Money does not make happiness, but it can buy you a piano.  :)

Hey!

You said you sent it to me but I didn't receive anything (which is hardly surprising considering the fact that I didn't ive you my e-mail...).

Nobody knows a website where I could get it?

Women and the Chopin Competition: Breaking Barriers in Classical Music

The piano, a sleek monument of polished wood and ivory keys, holds a curious, often paradoxical, position in music history, especially for women. While offering a crucial outlet for female expression in societies where opportunities were often limited, it also became a stage for complex gender dynamics, sometimes subtle, sometimes stark. From drawing-room whispers in the 19th century to the thunderous applause of today’s concert halls, the story of women and the piano is a narrative woven with threads of remarkable progress and stubbornly persistent challenges.
