Griffes recording
on: November 22, 2005, 09:39:24 PM
Can anyone recommend a good recording of Griffes' piano works? I am looking specifically for the Fantasy Pieces, Op. 6.

When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do.

Peter Lawson's american piano sonatas has the sonata and it was rather good from what I could remember. I think James Tocco has recorded all of his works but I didn't like it.

Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.
