non
-association thread?
Lol... if people can work out a link between the previous word and your word, then you are kicked out of the thread and are ignored on further posts!!!

"Insert" has two vowels, just like "ghoul" - is that a big enough link? :-)

Hmmm... bikes are one of the most common Christmas gifts... I'd say someone's been disclassified here... :-)

Sidenote here from "Professor" Bob:
You could associate any ideas together in some way. (That could be fun too.)
For example,
Roberto Cavalli to bike...
Roberto Cavalli sounds nearly like Roberto Calvi.
Calvi was murdered.
The police investigated the murder.
Police ride bicycles.
Bike to Christmas carols...
Bikes were used in the Vietnam war.
There are several Christmas carols (or songs) dealing with war.
How fun and interesting.... (no I am not this smart or this crazy with the use of my time. I'm cheating of course.)
Watermelon to Ghost...
According to Balkan legend (which we all know well, right?), any melon left outside for ten days after Christmas would become a vampire (Don't worry kiddies, because these vampire watermelons have no teeth).
A vampire is roughly equivalent to a ghost.
Watermelon to Ghost again...
Watermelon is produced the most in China today.
China was invaded by the Moors in the 13th century.
Moor sounds like "mauri" which means "ghost" roughly.
Watermelon to Ghost again!...
Watermelon has a flower with pollen.
Pollen can be spread by any creature, including bats.
Bats are roughly equivalent to ghost in term of ghoulishness.
Watermelon to Ghost... one more time!...
Watermelons are eaten by the dead in Mexican art that depicts Dia de los Meurots (Day of the Dead, October 31 through November 2)
That holiday is of course associated with ghosts.
I will not add a fifth association on here.
(Bob feels quite pleased with himself for this display of intelligent trickery.)
Of course, I suppose the point of this game is to have two ideas that are not directly associated with each other.
