Not really looking for an opinion on the performance (which I know is just okay), but on the sound quality of the piano.

It's actually not a real piano, but one sampled through "Virtual Grand Piano" software and recorded in GarageBand.  Is it obvious that it's not a real piano to you?

Added "O Tannebaum" arr. by Vince Guaraldi

I just added "O Tannenbaum" to my podcast.  I changed the patch to a "Classical Piano Dry" sound and turned down the volume level about 10 decibals.

Heh, they sound great - I've been wanting to transcribe these pieces before Christmas.  Did you transcribe them yourself or do you have the music?

It's from a book I purchased a while ago called "A Charlie Brown Christmas".  It was originally published by Warner Brothers, but Alfred Publishing bought out Warner Brothers' sheet music collection I believe.  So you'll have to search them.

There are a couple 'easy' versions also floating around, but this one was the most faithful to the original recordings.

Hi,

Been wanting to get back to you.

Very good sound. A little to much echo and it has that little tin sound you get thru computerised music, but all in all I was very impressed.

You also got me playing some C.Brown music so that is also a good thing.

Thanks for the comments.  It's actually one of the basic presets of the Virtual Grand Piano Software.  There are some more defined settings to offset the tinny sound you talk about, but I don't know if I got enough RAM to get it to record without dropouts.
