whats the deal with the lower-case letter 'a'
on: November 30, 2005, 08:56:36 AM
ok, on all internet sites, and stuff, the lower-case letter 'a' has like...an extended top, look closely at it.
randomly i hadnt really noticed it till recently, but i guess the purpose is to make it more easily distinguishable.
but we dont write the letter 'a' that way!

My my arent we observant today...
Anyway, I write my letter 'a' that way. I prefer it. Well, depending on which style of writing I use at the time. I have a few.

I do. In primary school I decided my handwriting had to be different, and it stuck!

i know a few people who write a's that way. i only did it when i was signing the back of my cards with 'Tash Creations'- for some weird reason i had to make it a non circular a, but eventually got bored of doing it so stopped
