chopin polonaise op 53 question
on: December 01, 2005, 12:29:23 AM
Hey
In the octave section, where the left hand plays E, D#, C# then B would it be wise to play fingers 1 -5 on white and 1-4 on black, my arm gets tired and i lack speed so will this help ?
i think ive seen people do it, but im not sure coz they go to fast, and im to lazy to look harder..
suggestions ?

15 13 14 15 from E, D#, C# then B try first with complete finger legato as possible forte and slower and speed it up!

I play 5-4-4-5 followed by 4-5-5-4 in the next section. I helps not to move the hand too much in and out from the keys as this is wasted movement. Rather keep the hand just over where the black keys end, so both white and blacks are winthin easy reach without having to move the hand in and out of the black keys. Hope this makes sense to you.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
