Bowing after a performance

Can anyone explain exactly how they bow after a performance?

Well, I make sure to smile (I don't have to force myself) and I like to look at the audience just before I take my bow.  I put my left hand on the curve of the piano (at the end of the keyboard) and place my right foot ever so slightly ahead of my left.  I let my right arm loosely hang and keep my hand close to my legs.  Then I bend at the waist with my head down too (not looking at the audience as I bow). 

Some people say things like "hello hippopotamus" while they are down to time it.  I don't believe I consciously do that.  But anyway, then I am up, I smile at the audience again and I am off.

I bow long enough to check my shoelaces - if untied, I will take care of them at that time.  ;D
