Which Beatle was the best performer, live or on film or in interviews? In other words which Beatle was best able to communicate with the audience/public, irrespective of his musical ability?

yeh...Ringo is the only one who is truly personable and not objectionable, so he always talked to the reprters and the cameras. Paul is vain, smarmy and annoying. John is a commie punk (and a rich one to boot, which makes him even more annoying). George is insecure and tortured with his Catholic guilt complex, and later with his search for truth. Ringo is just an ordinary guy. It's no wonder to me that while the Beatles were before the public in person, he was the one that TV hosts and reporters focused on, and maybe Brian Epstein pushed him into that role; he was no fool.
