Is Mozart's Rondo all turca hackneyed?

I wanted to play it at an audition till I realized it most probably is hackneyed.
What about K. 545? Even at the speed gould performs it at?

Yes, unfortunately they are two of the most overplayed piano pieces in the repertory. Why don't you try the Sonata in F major K.280? It's not played much and it's a great piece. NO adjudicator wants to hear K.545 or Ronda alla Turca again, unless it IS Glenn Gould playing!

Yes the pieces have been murdered many times by a many a learner. Nonetheless a good performance can take you by surprise when it makes you hear the piece again.
