on: December 17, 2005, 03:37:42 AM
I can't help it.  I am so happy.    I just got my new steinway and I am in love.  I wish I felt the same way about my husband!  I have been playing on a P-250 yamaha and wow-what a b ig difference.  I feel like I might actually be a piano player now.

What a piano./  What a christmas present.  What a husband!!!!

I'm confused, first you say that you are in love with your new Steinway and wish you felt the same way about your husband. Then you say "What a husband!!!!"

Well, which is it?

BTW, which model did your wonderful, generous and thoughtful husband get you?

Cheers

He bought me the model M which fits very nicely in my small living room.  I think it was very nice of him to buy me the piano.  He's great.  I was kind of kidding about him.  It's just I never thought I would have a really nice piano and I am so happy.  My parents bought me a lousy upright when I was very young and I bought myself the yamaha digital.  The steinway just sounds so good, plays so well.  So much different from the digital, obviously.  I feel like I can finally get some touch, feeling from a piano.  I'm just very happy.

Congratulations!   Isn't it wonderful to have this privilege in your own home?  It makes the heart sing.  How about posting a few pictures of your new instrument?  What color is it?

You are indeed a lucky person.  Few people have a spouse that has this kind of understanding and who would be willing to make this kind of sacrifice for the sake of good music.

Treat your new instrument with care, keep it away from direct sunlight and concentrated sources of heat, like radiators.  Keep it clean and tuned often. Play it a lot.

Good luck.  Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm.

Take out the /Users/*/Pictures/iPhoto Library/2005/09/29/IMG_0110.JPG line as you maybe dont want to post what I guess is your name.  Go to www.imageshack.us and there you can send your pictures. Then you will get thumbnails links you can copy and paste here.

They will look like this on the forums

You can as well just copy the lowest link from the links they provide you (direct link) and then click here on the bottom row of icons 2nd from the left.

You will get this
Code: [Select]
