Your trapped in a room with Muzio Clemeti, Hitler and Stalin, and have only two shots, who do you shoot? Clementi twice. Just to make sure hes dead.

This guys great. Really. No kidding. He wrote some pretty wicked stuff. Not to mention Beethoven and Chopin were greatly influenced by his teachings and methods.

Now that's funny.

Clementi is the type people seem to love or hate. Very little middle ground with him.

For the Stalin joke, you mean you only get two shots, right?

A reprint of the Gradus ad Parnassum unabridged would go a far way to help Clementi's reputation.  There are some beautiful cantabile pieces in there that could be standard issue among beginers.
Money does not make happiness, but it can buy you a piano.  :)
