Looking for a duet piece
on: December 18, 2005, 05:00:05 PM
Hi everyone. I'm looking for a certain duet piece but I cannot find the sheet music for it. Its "Two Tangos for two pianos" by Astor Piazzolla. If you know of any other good duet pieces let me know. thanx

I have one called "Libertango"by Piazzolla for two pianos. Is that the one you are referring to?

Check out Milhaud's Sacramouche. It consists of three pieces for two pianos. It's sort of Brazilian, Cuban style. Very cool. Sounds like fun to play

Brahms Hungarian Dances arranged for two pianos are also good.

Tchaikovsky Symphony 6 transcribed for two pianos.

I don't know what level you are playing at so I'm just suggesting random stuff.

Your right the "Libertango" is what I'm looking for but theres also an "Introduction al Angel" that goes along with it.

-I'm familiar with the Hungarian Dances but there so overdone to me.-

Okay scratch that. I'm familiar with Piazzolla's Libertango but I'm looking for the following:

Tangos for two pianos
by Astor Piazzolla

1. Revirado
2. Muerte del angel
3. Adios nonino
4. Michelangelo

I really just need the first two...gee I just can't make up my mind. :-[
