Grade for "The Lonely Man Theme"?
on: December 23, 2005, 09:57:04 PM
I took a hint and made a list of 100 pieces (actually 102) that I *wanted* to learn over the next 5 years. It's pretty well skewed for harder pieces. 3 of grade 2, 1 of grade 4, 7 of grade 5, 11 of grade 6, 14 of grade 8, and the rest are grade 7 (66). Lots of Bach, Beethoven, a few Gershwin. We'll just have to see how that goes, won't we.
This is in addition to any pieces that my teacher gives me to study, naturally.
There was one other piece that I'd like to learn. It is the theme music from the TV series "The Incredible Hulk".
It doesn't sound all that difficult, perhaps similar in difficulty to the Prelude in C major from Bach's the WTK?
Have any of you already played this piece by Joe Harnell? Roughly what grade level would that one fall into?
Thanks for the help!

Yep I played that one a while back, very easy. Grades 2 or 3 at a push?
