there is a pro version whcih you pay $20 for and free downloads so you get better speeds etc. or you can just go for the basic version which i have got. i get loads of music from it.

Incidentally, is it possible to convert .rmj files to mp3s?  I had to get rid of some CDs (small room overloaded) and copied them onto my computer, but unfortunately it didn't save the tracks as mp3s.  Would love to now burn these tracks onto a blank CD, but it won't allow me to burn .rmjs/ Thanks

eDonkey does not have spyware. i have friends who are expert at computers (not saying that you arent) and also i have programs like adaware that removes spyware from your computer, and i only notice spyware when i have been on a website that brings on pop ups.  i regularly scan my PC for spyware and i never get it after using eDonkey. Beside i tried emule before and it is slow for downloads.
