Fingering Question
on: September 28, 2003, 11:42:58 PM
Hi, I'm new here. First post...

I just began trying to play Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody #9.

Starting in the tenth measure, there is an ascending scale sort of thing where each hand plays two notes at the same time.

The suggested fingering is to play the first two notes in the right hand with 1-4 and then 2-5 and back to 1-4 etc.

The left hand does the same thing but starts on 2-5, then 1-4, 2-5 etc.

I'm finding that particular method rather difficult. Is there an alternate or easier way to finger this passage? Any help is appreciated.

I don't =(

I actually had a good deal of trouble finding a copy myself. I'll work on scanning it as soon as possible.
