Looking for teachers
on: December 30, 2005, 12:28:41 AM
I was wondering if anyone knew of a directory or some such resource for loacating teachers in your area. Specifically Goodyear, Arizona. I'll probably ask around at universities or something, but thought I'd try here for convenience.

Thanks.

private referrals like this are ok - especially if your teacher is honest about his/her background.  to have the background already checked, try this site (music teacher's national association)

https://mtna.org   (skip intro)  go to 'look up teacher in your area'

(looks like there is Shirley D. Nebergall, NCTM, 15666 W. Fairmount Ave., Goodyear, AZ 85338   623 444-6297)

there's also a homeschool link to the Arrowhead Ranch area  (623) 547-7962  comfortpianostudio@netscape.com   (don't know if they take adult students - but probably do)
