But you see the problem is I don't particularly care for this friend, and it's no concern of mine if this friend is bothered.  Also, as per your analogy, I rather like spilt milk.  I would be doing you a favor by cleaning up the milk so I don't see a reason why you couldn't compensate me in some way IE doing the small amount of work necessary to perform the task that I don't want to do and you want me to do for you.
