Schwester?  Isn't that "sister" in German?  Odd name for a piano!  ;D

Just discovered this old thread. What about Knabe or for that matter Bosendorfer (angry villager) ???

Schwester?  Isn't that "sister" in German?  Odd name for a piano!  ;D
I think the point was that it was odd for a Japanese pianomaker to name it that.
