The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

Only one that strikes my mind is the: Ravel - Prelude (1913) <- Hope I got the date right, it's relevance to the piece is a mystery to me.

I'm sure more experienced people on here have better suggestions though :)

This piece was composed for sight reading for students. It is dedicated to A Mademoiselle Jeanne Leleu who also was quite young upon the date of the composition. The date 1913 is also quite important in my opinion, because that is already after composers started experimenting with atonality(1908 I think). This piece is overall tonal and very beautifull in my opinion, but has a more or less slightly obfusticated notation(for sightreading) and unique dissonances. I really love this piece and I use it to sighread.

As for the easy pieces... How easy are we talking about, perhaps the opening and closing of Fur Elise? An easy arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon in D. There are more of course. :)

The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. (Hunter Thompson)
