Bach Partita in Bflat Gigue
on: October 08, 2003, 12:36:24 AM
Hello, is anyone learning Bach Partita Nro. 1 in Bflat, Gigue? I' m working on this piece and have some problems, speccially with the balance of the hands.

Thanks,
Alejandro.

I played the B partita several years ago. I don't have the score with me, but are you distributing the hands correctly? The right hand stays in the middle and the left jumps on the melodic extreme notes. Given that, just practice slowly in EVEN triplets while accenting the LH downbeats, probably with metronome, it will come to you.

Edited for spelling.
