error in sonata 17 (tempest)
on: January 25, 2006, 03:15:59 AM
I was in piano class with my teacher and he doesnt realy like bad editions of  music and know i see why when I printed the sonata and started learning it. When we listened to the recording we realized the second movement of the sheets was missing an entire line. I think it should be fixed (page 8) and mybe look over other music for any problems too.

I downloaded Pathetique off of sheet music archives, and when I bought a proper edition, I found out that they had a couple extra harmony notes in one bar!  Not as severe as your case, but it goes to show that an more expensive edition might be worth it.
