SOH-RAHB-GEE ?
No. The composer pronounced it "SOH-RAB-GEE" (i.e. with a short "a" but the main accent on the second syllable), although this pronunciation may well have been adopted as a result of English convention in favour of the likely more authentic pronunciation which is the same other than that the accent is on the first, rather than the second, syllable.

Someone on this forum will probably by now be even more irritated than before as a direct consequence of your having started another Sorabji thread, but since your particular question is a perfectly reasonable one, that fact doesn't worry me, so perhaps it needn't worry you either...

Best,
