laptop theft
on: January 26, 2006, 07:13:01 PM
ok.  this is how they do it.  they wait for that car at the 7-11 with the engine still on, pop the trunk, voila.  or, sneak past security guards and do in the receptionist.  then, they pretend they are the receptionist.  or, they ask tell the receptionist they REALLY have to use the bathroom and can they please enter the restricted area to use one.  last known technique...they act like they are filling out a job application and when no on is looking - go to the nearest cubicle and act busy.  then - fold up the laptop and act like they're on the way to a meeting.

how do i know this.  just curious.  especially after the latest bank mortgage info lost personal info on 200,000 customers and also a large insurer (same thing).  just wondering how this could happen!

Oh, look what I found in your email pianonut....  very disturbing!  Shame on you!  Where did you get this picture of me anyways?

Hmm you sure like to visit THIS site a lot...  but I thought you were straight o.o  I suppose we all have our dark little secrets.

Very impressive scores on minesweeper btw, but mine are better  8)

Odd; Marilyn Manson and Beethoven in the same folder...  I guess it works together.

Hmm- are you sure you want your husband to find out?  I'd delete that letter.  Ignorance is bliss.

Wow I type so fast on this thing!

I think he's pretending to have stolen and hacked her laptop, which she doesn't actually have.

he stole it to reclaim his body.  unfortunately, everyone is claiming that body.  when i saw it myself i yelled 'fire, fire.'  i will never forgive stevie for this intrusion of my privacy (don't worry stevie, i forgot all about it)- and peace of mind.  this was definately like a pop up.  i get this attachment and 'yikes' - then afterwards get several men claiming it was their body.  i don't think so.  this body was stolen from someone.  *remembering that it was headless, too.  anyway, getting scared off the forum doesn't work for me.  some men are like this.  trying to scare women from trying anything remotely similar to what they do.

take amelia earhart for instance.  was she scared?  just watched some rare footage of her last night on pbs.  anwya, i'm not scared.  where's the background check of thal?  hope he still comes to visit.  girlfriend and all.  (just not mental martin, please).  i think my four year old would scare him more than anyone.  the persistence of having to look at the biggest chewing gum bubble int he world each time she blows one.  then, thalbergmad would gohome realizing that he, in fact, is sane.

say, if yu check my e-mail - you see mostly the daily scriptures from  www.studylight.org  if you sign up for them to send you scriptures on a daily basis - they'll do it.  better than mail that randomly comes!  i read it first thing in the morning - and think about the scripture.  i had forgotten that when Jacob packed up (yes with two wives, and two servant girls - and a lot of children = can't explain the four wives) he met a two companies of angels (that must have given him the idea to break into two companies himself - and to use some diplomacy when he met his brother).  just as when he had rested his head and saw angels ascending and decending (and placed the pillar stone there) - he also saw this company (or large two bands) of angels and instantly recognized they were of God.  wonder what tipped him off - because we usually can't instantly recognize angels.  were they not carrying any weapons?  perhaps!

Do I honestly come off as the type of person that wants bible quotes in my email?

Btw, this is rhetorical.  Response is not necessary.

Perhaps you could start a consulting business on how that could be done. ;D

From laptop theft to bible quotes.  This thread is totally planned.

So is there some secret society that plans perfectly random threads for a piano forum?

ok.  i'm over it.  where have you been, anyway?  are you still practicing?  you go off for weeks at a time - and then suddenly reappear!  you're getting too old for break dancing - just admit it- piano is you.  how's ariebus?  i can see her ears flapping in the wind - as she goes out for a spin.

my cat has become very adamant about sleeping on my stomach.  between her warming up her paws on me (she's getting old) as i used to warm up my feet with her.  between the cat and my daughter (who also gets cold hands and feet) i have to be the one that's warm.  now.  thankfully, i've gotten circulation back in my leg and foot. was worried for a while.

*making some mozarella cheese sticks - throws a basket to you and one to thalbergmad.  eenie meenie minie moe - i think i like both of you - but for uniquely different reasons (except that you both play piano).  of course, if i could i'd try to meet everyone on this forum. i think there's exceptional people here and with so many interests.  not to make hubby jealous though.  and, thinking about it - guess it's better everyone lives so far apart.  i'm the kind of person that likes to play other people's pianos - and you and thal would certainly be welcome to come and eat here and play piano or organ (although the organ is not functioning well and after 1/2 hour has a large electrical charge and then quits.  the lights start flickering first).  and then, hubby would say - where are we getting all these stray pianists.

well i get so caught up with finishing up my BA-Nursing that i drop computer time in random chunks..i always come back though..i stopped dancing..i filled the empty void and accomplished what i wanted to

i returned to breakdancing only to finish what felt like unfinished business..i did some competitions and performances and was fulfilled

not to be rude..but its Airebis..and hes a boy..

glad to hear your about your cat..and your good health..and your 12 postings a day average

im returning to piano..slowly but surely..but i no longer play classical music..well i still dip my finger in it..but i started alot of video game music..because this is what initially turned me on to piano in the first place..

started playing some mario, final fantasy, metroid, and sonic stuff..its really fun and great because it brings back so many memories

sorry about getting airebis's gender mixed up!  yes.  i'm still posting a few messages every day.  i did spend a couple of days off - doing stuff with my son.  like yesterday, even though i posted some messages - we went driving together for awhile (to the mall).  i drove there and he drove back.  he always asks 'why don't you let me drive on the way there?'  usually i say - well, i want to make sure we get there.  it doesn't make any sense to him - but makes him laugh anyway.  he's not a bad driver - but my leg gets sore driving so i'd rather go first before walking around (which we did a lot of yesterday).

i'm so sore today.  between 'malling' and gardening - i've been keeping busy.  glad to hear you're doing what you like and feel inspired by, too.  guess this doesn't relate to laptop theft (had to look up and remind myself what thread i was on).  anyway, glad to hear your nursing program is getting close to completion.  if you need someone to do physical therapy on (my leg) i'm here.  occasionally, i have to sit down and just do nothing - which is when i go on pf.

did you say razor blades?  that's not exactly wal-mart stuff is it?  sorry about her stuff!  if she'd caught him in time - she'd have scared him.
