another ten clicks faster on the metronome
on: January 28, 2006, 10:55:17 PM
I want to increase the speed at which I can play scales by ten clicks of the metronome. I want the rest of my playing skills to stay the same, unwarped by scale practice.
What's the best way to do this?
How long will it take?
Not just getting up that speed, but getting there so it is solid and with ease.

Check out Bernhard's postings on zoom-zoom scales.
When you say 10 clicks, you mean on a traditional metronome, right? So you would be going from say 80 bpm to 130-something? (Sorry, I don't have a traditional metronome anymore.)
