I don't have a cellphone, but here are ones I would may like if I had one:

- Dies Irae chant theme.... in variants by different composers
- Rite of Spring... especially that dance theme from the opening of 2nd mvt.
- a bunch of people screaming at the top of their lungs
- sound of a crow
- voice saying "don't answer the phone"
- fog horn
- sound of truck backing up
- white, pink, or brown noise
- some very-bangy-gone-into-maddness piano music
- the sound of a phone dialing a number
- a constant very high pitched sine wave
- voice saying "I know cell phone rings in public are anoying, but isn't this ring tone even more anoying?"
- voice saying "What's the most anoying ring tone you ever heard"
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

too funny, both of you.  yes, you have to keep it realistic.  i'm afraid the fog horn would make me turn around.

my phone ring tones suck. i wanted classical but i don't think it even has any and as if i can be bothered wasting my money buying one. so i went for the sound of the old traditional phone ringing. and my sms beeper is a cuckoo clock

Each of them, and coupled to different items of the internal phone list.

I have crap ringtones on my mobile, but i was bored the other day (very bored) and so i worked out the beginning Beethoven's Hammerklavier (1st mov't)and Les Adieux (3rd mov't) using the composer option on my phone....they sound so funny, i had to improvise a bit though - as i couldn't make chords etc lol...i also put the beginning of Elgar's Cello concerto on there too.

People give me funny looks sometimes though when the phone goes off as if to say "what the hell is that?!"

Haha.  I have Beethoven's 5th on mine.  After that first opening motive, the "drums" come in and syncopate it for the rest of the time.

Cell phones are ridiculously expensive!  Also, people who use them while driving piss me off something fierce.

On 20/20, they said that in 25% of cell phone conversations you see in public, there is no one on the other line!  The owner is just trying to look all important and business-like while they walk around, so they put a phone to their head and talk to themselves.

Instead of using the iPhone's default ringtone, I chose the song Rockstar - Lisa to personalize my ringtone.

Don't have a cell phone. Eventually it will get to be too hard to go anywhere outside the little town I live in without one, but for now, I love not having the interruptions and drain on attention.
