Help me find a rare recording!
on: February 06, 2006, 08:33:29 PM
I am looking for a recording of Malcolm Arnolds only piano sonata, composed in 1942. The only recording i've found so far is on
www.amazon.com
, but as im from the UK the shipping cost is expensive, and it can take up to 6 weeks to arrive. If anyone has a copy of this and can send it to me, or knows a place where I can download it, then that would be great, alternatively if you know a UK website where I could buy a CD with this piece on, then that would be good too.

Presto Classical seems to have it. Here's the link:

Scroll down about 3/4 page for complete piano music.

Thanks for that! I did loads of searching on google and couldn't find anywhere to get hold of it. Have you used prestoclassical before? Are they reputable?
