Help me find a rare recording!
on: February 06, 2006, 08:33:29 PM
I am looking for a recording of Malcolm Arnolds only piano sonata, composed in 1942. The only recording i've found so far is on www.amazon.com, but as im from the UK the shipping cost is expensive, and it can take up to 6 weeks to arrive. If anyone has a copy of this and can send it to me, or knows a place where I can download it, then that would be great, alternatively if you know a UK website where I could buy a CD with this piece on, then that would be good too.

Presto Classical seems to have it. Here's the link:

Scroll down about 3/4 page for complete piano music.

Thanks for that! I did loads of searching on google and couldn't find anywhere to get hold of it. Have you used prestoclassical before? Are they reputable?
