Looking for recordings
on: February 09, 2006, 06:15:02 AM
Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone had recordings of Mozart's piano Sonata in D Major, K. 311 and of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in e minor, BVW 914?  And I was wondering if that someone could send them to me?  They are on classical archives, but only as midis, and I don't like the sound quality of midis.
Thanks, my email is la_ginn@yahoo.ca

Well, why thank you to whomever the mysterious person is who sent me the Toccata!  That's super.  Who were you anyway?  Or do you want to remain anonymous?  Now I only need the Mozart.  Anyone?

Yes, I did!  Thank you very much etudes!  I could burn the first movement by Brendel, and the whole Sonata by Gould onto my c.d.  The others were under copyright, so they'll have to stay on my computer.  No, I didn't read the message, lol!  I was too excited to finally have the recordings that I forgot to read your message!  Sorry about that!  Gould's toccata is also under copyright, so it has to stay on my computer, and can't be put on a c.d., but at least I can listen to it now.   Does anyone happen to have that toccata NOT under copyright, so that I can use itunes to burn it?  If not, it's okay.  My teacher knows what that one sounds like, so I don't need to familiarize her with it, but it would still be nice to have it on c.d. anyway for when I'm in the car. :)  (No, my teacher doesn't have the internet, if you're wondering why I'm making this for her.   I want her to know what I want to learn next you see.)
