Need help teaching a certain piece
on: February 18, 2006, 12:26:07 AM
I'ma beginner as far as teaching is concerned, although I've been playing for nearly 14 years. I recently got a new student and she wants to play Bach Gavotte from French Suite No.5. I've never played this or any other movement from a french suite. What are some things to be aware of? Some things to make note of? Is it too hard for an adult with lots of experience in piano but not in classical music? Let me know.
