Looking for theory worksheets, nonpiano, very simple

I need some basic music theory worksheets for my kids.  Extremely easy.  Very short.  Something along the lines of "this is a staff"  "notes are on lines and spaces."  That basic.  Something that a student could "get" in 5 minutes.  Something where the student does a little bit of writting so I know if that individual student got the info.  And if it's reproducible where I can copy as many sheets as I want for my students, that would be good too.

Does this exist?  Is there anything like published?

hmmmm... well, I am curious over a couple of things regarding your question.  First of all, why would you wish it to be non-piano anyway ?  Unless you are talking about for a band class or choir class.   

Other than that, it all depends on how much information you want them to get from one sheet.  If it is only the staff and clefs (or staves, if they read one clef at a time and different clefs at that) you can just show them on some kind of a board.  If it is at school, you must have some kind of big board to draw on.  If it is private lesson, one thing that I have done is draw the (Grand) Staff on a big board and we just look at that together.  If it is only this information, what would they be writing ?

If it is more than that (or even that included), like you wanting them to write down when it is a line note vs a space note, or whatever else, there are loads of theory books out there by Bastien, Alfred, and those guys that cover this stuff.  "Note-speller" is a name I have heard of before (but I don't use).   But, for any of that stuff, you can also (easily) create your own sheets using the (free) Finale Notepad download.

I'm looking for something already made.  I will do it myself if I have to.

It's for any music student, not just piano.  And it has to be extremely basic -- things must be broken down into very, very small steps.  A little writting must be included.

If I made it with notation, it would look very clean.  But it takes forever to figure out how to get those programs to do exactly what you want.  So if it's premade and legally reproducible, I'm set.  There are books that allow you to copy as much as you want.

I suppose that's another restriction.  I must be able to copy it.  The student will not purchase this stuff.

When I discover a student doesn't know something, I will give them a quick canned speech, give them a worksheet, and hopefully they will understand it then.  Short and precise.  I just haven't found this stuff yet.

I don't know of any books for this kind of stuff that will let you just copy as many pages as you want (or any pages, for that matter), so I would think something like that online link will be best.
