on: October 27, 2003, 04:16:04 AM
Hey everyone,
My Mason & Hamlin 1929 model A is done being rebuilt!  I went a tried it on Friday night and I am in love... everything is perfect  ;D

I got a shot of the interior and decal before the guy showed some signs of wanting to go home after a long day at work  ::)  Ah well, more to come when its delivered on Wed.  Here are the shots:

*Edit:  for some reason the pics aren't showing up.  Here are the links to them.

By the way, does anyone know what the latin on the decal means?

Image station?  Sounds like a dictatorship!  Well, I took off the unnecessary extensions, and found them.  I tried linking them, but that didn't work (probably the doings of Image Station).  So, I put them in a location where it'll be able to show.  Here they are:

As for the Latin, after doing some Googling, I found:

"palmam qui meruit ferat" means "Let him bear the palm who has deserved it." (Source: https://www.sacklunch.net/Latin/P/palmamquimeruitferat.html)

"Sui generis" means (lit.) "its own gender/genus or unique in its characteristics" or "one of a kind" (Source: www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sui_generis)
You can't spell "Bach" without "ach"
