godowsky renaissance sheet music
on: February 27, 2006, 11:39:28 AM
I was wondering if some nice person could post the sheet music for the following:

Godowsky-Corelli: Pastorale In G (Angelus)
(No. 8 in the series called 'Renaissance'.)

I saw an allegedly 'complete' Godowsky sheet music catalogue and the Renaissance wasn't on it.
If you don't know the piece, it's a serene thing. Here's the start of Barere playing it:

Thanks.

www.everynote.com/godowsky/51.html  maybe try at the bottom 'click here for free download'  (hope it works)

www.onlineclassical.com  has some downloadable stuff, too.  i didn't see the transcription, though.

Much respect to both of you for you help and for promoting an unknown but beautiful piece. I'm relieved that most of it doesn't look too hard.
I was having trouble getting this tune out of my head. Now my neighbours will have the same problem...
