Well, well, well (a vent)
on: February 27, 2006, 05:38:23 PM
firstly.

I HATE COMPUTERS.

1st amendment: Okay, I like Macs, but I hate the rest.

2nd amendment: My real problem with computers isn't actually with computers but with the software.

3rd amendment: Okay it's not even the software, it's the stupid internet connection that KEEPS BLINKING ON AND OFF.

I'M BEING BLINKED TO DEATH.

BLINK BLINK BLINK

Secondly, I hate that pianos get out of tune.

Thirdly, I hate that I can't find the fine line between Intensity and.. Tensity when playing certain pieces on the piano. How do you have the one and not the other? argh.

Fourthly, I'm sick of arrogant snobs.

5thly, Bach rules

6thly, WHY IS SHEET MUSIC ARCHIVE DOWN?!?!?! AND GAMINGFORCE?!?! WWHHHYYY!!!!!?!?!?!?

*sobs*

7thly, the saying that if you use more than 3 exclamation points in a row you're physco is an urban legend and Isn't Funny Anymore.

8thly, it's still blinking. blink. blink. blink.

aaaahhhhh

*goes back to studying*

Caecilius est in horto....

[lau] 10:01 pm: like in 10/4 i think those little slurs everywhere are pointless for the music, but I understand if it was for improving technique

i know, so many ammendments.  there has to be another constitiution that is readable.  maybe the wave of the future is just that.  i just want to make sure it covers the general population and not just those in leadership positions.  btw, sorry this is a vent, too. (only connection to your post actually).  beethoven changed his tune about napoleon when he saw what he was all about.

What about Grumio and Metella?
Metella in atrio sedet!
lol... r u doing the cambridge latin course then?
ahahahaha... i dropped latin to do greek
I had Caecilius - who apparently had about 50000000000000000 jobs) - and he ruled the latin books! But he died in the end... aWWWWWWWWW!  :-[

Agree with the out of tunes pianos... i use one when playing in a hotel for work which is nastily out of tune (and the pedal doesn't work either :'()

The sheetmusicarchive being down I also noticed, but it's probably a good thing for me since I've been too zealous with starting new pieces these days (rather than finishing ::))

I believe Moriz Rosenthal could converse in several languages, including Latin and Ancient Greek. Paderewski gave three, hour-long speeches at the Versailles Conference, one in Polish, one in Englsh and one in French, all without notes. Now we have Mozartian in horto. There's hope for the piano community yet.

I collect Asterix in Latin. I have nearly all of them, and they provide a wonderful alternative to Sudoku at 12.30 am (I still need a dictionary). I have Nuticulus (Noddy), Titinus (Tintin) and Robinson Crusoëus, too. Anyone else out there?

By the way, Macs are it, effectively, except that the Apple //e is even better. It has a processor speed of 1.023 MHz, a green screen, and machine code to die for.

darl when sheet music is down that's when you come and suck up to me if the gold members can get it here!!

now sit down and stroke your eyebrows, take a deep breath in, hold for a second, now breathe out, imagine fluffy white clouds in a lovely blue sky, and then put on some nice music, like bach, since he rocks everyone's socks

and then go into denial about everything- denial is the answer to everything;)

LoL no I'm not using cambridge, someone told me the phrase and it's been stuck in my head. I use Wheelock's + a TON of reading material.

*strokes eyebrows, realizes that one arches more than the other- AAHHHH* :P

*goes into denial & puts on Bach*

*deep breath*

lol the piece I want the sheets for is Bach's D Major prelude and fugue no. 5 from WTC bk 2. It's SO AWESOME! But I don't think anyone has it except GF and SMA. :(

Ah well I guess I should finish the GM P&F I've been working on, lol....
