alright... pronounce the beginning of teh word, "show" and then hold your nose and say "pan" and that's it, exactly how you say it.
yall guys are funny, you make meh laugh so hard. i had to listen to the song several times, and i've come up with the conclusion, that it has to be fast forwarded or something... i don't know what that was... but it sounds like it's fast forwarded at least.

Well, let's ease down on our tease. She tried... though, not very hard, but tried. And about the repetition and all that cutting and pasting of the "Sher-zo", I heard (some long ago) that on these pigeon, oh sorry, pelican, darn, I mean, pageant contests, they are limited to two minutes or so performance time. That, I believe is the reason for her cut-and-paste art work... only, it's a retarded down version.

That recording is an insult to humanity.
It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.

A world, in short, totally unlike our own.

It sounds like it.  Hands can never be as accurate as fingers can.

Now why would anyone want to do that?
People are simply expressing their views on a girl with obvious pianistic (is that a word?) talents and her innovative new method of playing.

Wow!   :D  This performance could only be topped by that of Florence Foster Jenkins in the following link:

I know this is not a piano performance, but I'm convinced Ms. Jenkins must have been the contestant who beat Ms. "Show-Pan" in Texas.

Before I listened to the recording, I was going to say something very PC and say that we should be ashamed of ourselves for making fun of ppl like that. But...after I heard it, I was SHOCKED!! I have nothing to say about the performance. But I do applaud the announcer for trying to use both his knowledge of French (Chopin) and German (Scherzo) pronounciation in announcing the piece. However, someone should've told him to say "scherzo" as he would in Italian...

Wow, who was that!?! I know this aria. I couldn't make out a single word that she sang! To give her credit, she did hit SOME of the high notes. Poor girl, she should not go behind her voice teacher's back like that!

Ms. Jenkins' history is...er.. fascintating.  I think that ahinton has a point by mentioning the incredible William hung (She bangs, she bangs among other favourite classics).  People do seem to have an affinity for the underdog.  But hey, I figure that they deserve fame more than someone like Paris Hilton.  At least these two have a certain charm...

This is crazy... I live in Texas, and my brother got to hear her playing Liszt's 2nd Hungarian Rhapsodie at the Junior High School, after she gave a little constructive sermon. He said she played it pretty well- but then-  He doesn't know crap about piano music.

I don't know if any of you know what the The Facebook is, but there is a social group on there at Juilliard for people who have seen and been scarred by this wretched performance.
