I just found out that I satire site that I check from time to time has been removed from Google. Now, according to the Google search the site doesn't exist. The website is
www.thepeoplescube.com It basically satirizes by writing in the overblown style of communist propaganda. It may not be at the level of the Onion, but it's still pretty funny. After Google agreed to censor its results in China in exchange for access, the People's Cube responded with this.

A search for 'the peoples cube' will turn up pages that link to the site but not the site itself. Furthermore, if you try to search for web pages inside the site, Google tells you it does not exist. The Cube posted their response to this here.
https://www.thepeoplescube.com/red/viewtopic.php?t=637I can think of no reason that Google removed the site other than that it criticized Google. This runs against their stated policy
Does Google censor search results?
It is Google's policy not to censor search results. However, in response to local laws, regulations, or policies, we may do so. When we remove search results for these reasons, we display a notice on our search results pages. Please note: For some older removals (before March 2005), we may not show a notice at this time.
Out of curiousity I googled 'Stormfront' (a white supremacist web site) and it appeared first in the search. This should prove that Google won't censor results for political reasons, but they will censor you for criticizing them. Amazing that a company who's motto is 'Do no evil" is so damn evil.
