Theory: Rhythm and melody writing in Grades 4 & 5
on: November 06, 2003, 01:43:09 PM
Hi,

I just started theory on my own and I went for the recent Grade 4 theory exams by ABRSM.  The thing is, I noticed I could do all the parts except the rhythm writing and now I worry for the melody writing in Grade 5 to come.

Is there any way to improve these areas?  Any methods/special books to get?  I am doing theory on my own though I have a teacher for my practical.   (Trying to save some money there.)
