why do people argue so much?  it gets on my nerves.

The woman that i work for is always arguing with her husband on the phone.

When, he came in the office last week, I asked "why don't you just walk out on her, we will all be happier". He said he was considering it.

I only argue with someone once, then I just don't bother talking to them.

Here's a thought, you only argue with someone or about something you care about. If you didn't care you wouldn't expend the energy. There are certainly more effective means of communication, but not everyone is that mature. Also when one doesn't feel like one is being understood voices wil rise. Ironically, it's lowering your voice that's more likely to get yourself heard.

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
