Peabody Conservatory

Hello all!

I've been accepted to Peabody for piano, and I am given a choice between Marian Hahn and Benjamin Pasternak as my teacher.  I was just wondering if anyone had any helpful opinions to help me make my decision.

Also I was just wondering, is Peabody traditionally stingy with scholarships? I was accepted to CIM and Oberlin as well, and both offered me a substantial sum that is renewable each year. (I'm an international student)

Actually I am also trying to make a decision as to WHERE to go, so it'll be greatly appreciated if you guys could also help me compare CIM (assigned teacher: Kathryn Brown), Peabody and RCM (London). These are my top three choices and it's giving me a huge headache!!

Thanks to all for reading, and for your responses!  ;D

I don't know about the teachers by reputation, but it appears that Marian Hahn has studied with two of the best teachers in the world, Fleisher and Perry.  Besides that, Peabody is one of the best piano schools in the country - my piano teacher once said he used to practice 10 hrs/day before he would play in that town.
