on: April 11, 2006, 06:08:40 PM
i have just been looking at profiles, and i think we should have a little category for repertoire! i think it would be really good to see what other people can play. anyone else think this is a good idea?

I don't think so. Why would it "be really good to see what other people can play"?

I think it's a great idea!  this way, if I am working on Fantasy impromptu, for example, I can check certain member's repertoire and see if anyone who knows me plays it.  And then I can private message them to talk about '4 vs 3' time.  Of course, I could just make a topic about my problem for all to see, but the person who played fantasy impromptu may or may not see it.

But this way it will be less forum and more chatting. If you make a topic it would be accessible for everyone, instead of only the two people pm-ing each other. You could send a pm to someone requesting him or her to post in your thread though. This is much more 'forum-friendly' .

The repertoire in profile sounds like a good idea, but it would require a lot of adjustment to the forum software (I suppose) and we don't know if it will work, but it's definately worth a try out.
