Rachmaninov G Minor Prelude: COMMENTS NEEDED!
on: April 12, 2006, 12:17:54 AM
I play the G minor prelude on an electro piano. As I intend to record a CD in 6-12 months or so (and I know there's still plenty of work to do) I would welcome any constructive comments on how I can improve my playing.

many thanks in advance
Nicolas

Overall, you've got a good start on this piece.

However, it needs to be sped up a little (maybe 4 min. time total instead of 4:20)

Also watch your tempo, remember, the piece is marked 'Alla marcia' and should be like a march, more precise and majestic.

Cheers
