Pythagoras Switch.

One of the Bach WTC fugues is compared to one of these things. I am not sure which on but you can find it here: https://jan.ucc.nau.edu/~tas3/wtc/wtc.html

these are cute but not nearly as creative as the one Honda did a year or so ago with car parts.  I never found a way to download it permanently, and the address I have for it no longer works.  Does anybody have that one?

The bach site I mentioned had a link to a car add one to compare this to fugues. Big chance it is the honda one. I am not sure if the link still works since I downloaded it about a year ago.

Let me try to find out which one it is.

ピタゴラ スィッ チ

If my knowlege of katakana still serves me correctly, it represents the sounds pi (pee) ta ko ra su i(ee) chi.

Don't ask me what it means. Normally katakana is used for non Japanese words that has is no kanji for it (Chinese origin symbols) or hiragana, (another phonetic symbol system).

So, the first two katakana symbols 'pi ta' might stand for 'Peter'.

Clear as mud?

Gommen nassai, watashi wa nihongo-o sukoshi hanasimase.

Cheers
