Recital program
on: April 14, 2006, 09:25:09 PM
Okay, I believe that I have finally closed the book and landed on a program.  But I wanted to run it by everyone and see if you guys had any suggestions.  (I appreciate everyone's prior input.)  It took me a long time to get here since I have discovered so much great music in the last year (partially thanks to Rhapsody), and so it has morphed over time.

Brahms
Capriccio in F-sharp minor, Op. 76 No. 1
Intermezzo in A major, Op. 118 No. 2

Beethoven
Tempest Sonata

Intermission

Chopin
Impromptu No. 2 in F-sharp major, Op. 36

Mazurka in C-sharp minor, Op. 63 No. 3
Mazurka in A minor, Op. 17 No. 4

Polonaise in F-sharp minor, Op. 44

Thanks in advance!
Steve

Very nice. You have pieces that are not often played, specifically the Chopin Impromptu and the mazurkas. Not to mention the underplayed (yet one of my favorites) Tempest Sonata. I'd definetly attend.
