I'm working on the First and Second Ballades of Chopin and I would like to know which edition was used to create the pdf files that are available on pianostreet.com.

Dear cherub_rocker1979,
Our Chopin Ballades were scanned from an Edition Peters book edited by Herrmann Scholtz.
