A brilliant website that doesn't exist
on: April 19, 2006, 09:10:36 PM
I have just looked through the cooking websites and came up with this idea while I was there. I wanted a recipe for onion soup and looking through all the recipes, realised I didn't have all the ingredients, the shops are shut ?
So why isn't there a website where you sellect items you do have in your fridge/ cupboard
(the more items the better as it would have a bigger selection) for the search
Then you submit these ingredients and you get results back giving you choices on what you can make with THESE ingredient.
How would you market this concept to make money/ Could you patent this idea

I think I heard of this somewhere. I think there might be or have been a site.

I don't want to make money from it myself as I know how much commitement; self ventures require. But (sugar) another idea possibly stolen by the tinternet. (I can't find it so it can't be that good)
Why is every angle covered
are there any ideas left in the world.
how about the same concept covering sweets/ beverages/ (with videos)

There's a bartending site that uses that concept called the webtender.
https://www.webtender.com/cgi-bin/imbselect
It's a good idea, maybe you can perfect it because this site's ingredient thing is weak.
