Free videos - Chopin and Prokofiev concertos
on: April 20, 2006, 08:02:10 AM
Here's a page worth visiting:-

 https://www.sgourosmp3.com/sgouros-videos.htm

Featuring free videos of pianist Dimitris Sgouros performing Chopin Piano Concerto No 1 and Prokofiev Piano Concerto No 3, along with a television interview which he gave.

The Prokofiev 3rd dates from the late 1980's in Frankfurt's Alte Oper (opera house), a collaboration with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra.  A very spiky, energetic reading of this concerto... recommended!
