Rubinstein Collection
Does anyone own this thing? I'm thinking of buying it... the only thing that's stopping me is the price.

I've a friend who owns it, and I must say it's pretty great. I still don't think it's worth the price, though - a lot of research and savvy buying can get you Rubinstein's better recordings for ~600 dollars, and the biography would be another 30 or 40? It's a very nice box though, and looks quite impressive. If you have the money and you're really bent on getting the set, go for it. I've settled for buying individual Rubinstein recordings when I come across them, though.
