Yamaha Clavinova "problem" ?
on: April 22, 2006, 02:45:28 PM
I think there is something wrong with my CLP 220. I don't know why, but when I play the lower notes, they seem to "overrule" the higher notes. When I play, for example, chords with the righthand, in combination with arperggios on the lefthand, the lower notes just come out a lot better than the higher ones.

No matter how soft I push on the lower notes (and play the higher notes a bit louder), it's always getting blurry. It's only when I use the pedal though and I don't overuse the pedal. Right from the beginning, when I start with a lower note, in combination with a higher chord/note, the lower always overrules it, very strange.

It's a weird problem, but if annoying might have a suggestion or some information, I'd like to hear it.

Thanks.

Haha freudian slip ;).

As for the actual problem, all I can suggest is call yamaha's support line. Seeing as they are digital pianos, and not acoustic, there is no real advice we can give (other than try messing with buttons and knobs) to help fix your problem. :/
