My LTCL programme
on: April 23, 2006, 07:32:03 PM
I've been studying for this for nearly a year and have now decided to change one of the pieces, need help on deciding what to though  :-\

Bach Partita No. 2 in C minor

Mozart Sonata in D K576

Szymanowski etude No. 3

Piece 4 was going to be Chopin Nocturne in C minor but I just can't get round the last two pages (I have quite small hands), it actually hurts to practise this enough to do it justice, anything about this level that would fit into my programme would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance  :)

What about the Nocturne in G major Op. 37/2  - it has plenty of thirds and sixths.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Thanks quantum, not sure if it's acceptable yet as I have to email them if it's not on the syllabus, any other ideas? Doesn't have to be Chopin.

Thanks  :)

Or the D-flat, Op. 27, No. 2. I think it was on last year's syllabus.

Thanks Sharon, just found a link on their website with additional diploma repertoire and the nocturne is there, i've played this one previously and love it to bits so have found my 4th piece!!!  :)
