I dont think its a "tribute", its only meant to be in the ricky martin style, meaning latino style. Earl Wild having ricky martin as his idol seems odd  ::)

 Oh yeah, that one always brings me funny memories...
 I first heard that movement when in Baylor University's week long Pipe Organ Encounter, on a night concert featuring the staff.
My friends and I walked in, read through the program, and when we saw that, I heard some sarcastic comments as: "This has got to be good..." or "I bet Wild was gay"...
 It was actually an interesting piece of music...  ;D

That's messed up.  Can't say I liked it.  It wasn't really Ricky martinish to me, and not really classical. Weird.
