Chords, arm weight and relaxation
on: December 01, 2003, 02:02:41 PM
Hi everyone,
I am really enjoying the reading of the book "Fundamentals of piano practice" from Chuan C. Chang.
I am interested in knowing what you guys think of it !
Also, he refers to another book that - if I get it right - explains how to play chords using arm weight and relaxation, etc. He mentions Mouchard and Sandor but I cannoy find any book with that name/from these authors...
So if someone could help me figure it out - or give me other sources of information on that subject - I would really appreciate !
Thanks and have all a good one !

Although I have not read this, I would be very wary of "free books" found on the internet,

Yes... this is the good attitude to have with free information on the net...
Now, because I already have gone through a big part of it, I think it is worth reading it...
It discusses topics that I have never found in "classical" - but not free ! - piano methods and books... Now, I'm not saying that the author is always right !!
If you have some time, read it and tell me what you think ! I will be more than happy to get your feedback.
